Coasian caps and trinitarian trades

The NYT has an environmental-economically-literate article on cap-and-trade. It warmed the cockles of my dismal economist's heart.

It even mentioned Ronald Coase and The Problem of Social Cost! Oh, the canon!

Can we have Steady State Economics next, please?

I wonder how many of the students I've introduced to Coase over the years will read it and remember?
