Massive UK solar subsidy announced

Do the math.

£0.41 per KWH at $1.56/pound is 64¢

That would get you a whole new world of solar panels fairly quickly. And a disorganized start on a serious smart grid/distributed power system. I guess the yUKe is getting serious about green power.
